“The Manor Bargara” in beautiful Bargara Beach. DCM Building Design was so proud to be a part of this amazing renovation project transforming an early 1900’s Federation Bungalow into something that truly pays tribute to its original owners and the area. Our focus was squarely on keeping the existing bones of the house in place, and with a very clear vision from our amaxzing clients, we were able to deliver a design solutions fitting for this amazing property.

We modified many of the openings to maximise the interfaces between interior and exterior living areas and made the addition of an alfresco structure and pool area along with the renovation of an existing shed into the games room.

With a “promise to keep” made by our client to the traditional owners, we were able to play aprt in delivering a design aesthetic that paid homage to this era of design in Queensland, and more so a tribute to the longstanding history of the property. What has resulted is something we can all be proud of.
